Polysomnography (PSG), also known as a sleep study, is the most accurate method used in the diagnosis of sleep disorders, such as snoring and sleep apnoea. As well as a PSG, a detailed clinical examination must be carried out by a specialized physician. This examination involves gathering detailed personal information and assessing it using internationally recognized history forms, along with cephalometric or Dental Volumetric Radiography (DVT) if needed.
Through PSG, examination, history review, and additional radiographic assessments, airflow patterns through the mouth and nose are carefully monitored, allowing for precise determination of the type and severity of the patient's sleep disorder. Based on these findings, a tailored treatment plan will be developed. We may also collaborate with specialists such as ear, nose, and throat specialists, neurologists, or pulmonologists for further consultation if needed.
