Restores your teeth

Inlay/Onlay/Overlay applications are today's modern solutions to restoring decayed teeth or teeth with surface loss, in order to restore their original shape and resistance. It is possible to perform this process with restorative materials that can be produced digitally in just one day, and as close to the natural tooth as possible, using a computer environment, precise measurements and intraoral scanning devices.

Teeth that have undergone root canal treatment lose their basic support tissues. In teeth with advanced tissue loss, this increases their risk of decay and further breakage. In these teeth, the net measurements taken by scanning in a very short time with intraoral camera systems are designed on the computer and produced digitally with materials that are close to the original tooth so that they cannot be distinguished from the natural tooth.

Avoid infections in your mouth

Afterwards, they are adhered with special bonding materials in such a way that there is no gap between the tooth and the filling material. Thus, since there is no leakage area under the filling, the risk of re-decay is minimized.

Digital dentistry allows us to take quick and high-quality impressions from the mouth and use three-dimensional printer and scraping systems technology, thus giving us the opportunity to offer fast and quality solutions day by day. In the Laser Bio Dentistry Concept, when the tooth surfaces are disinfected with laser before inlay, onlay and overlay bonding, it is possible to extend the life of the teeth further by preventing the risk of decay formation under the filling materials.

Frequently asked questions about Inlay - Onlay

Since inlays and onlays are prepared in our laboratory, the treatment takes two or three sessions. At the first appointment, the decay is removed and the measurement of the tooth to be prepared, and the surrounding teeth, is taken. The tooth is sealed with a temporary filling material. The measurement is sent to our laboratory. In the second appointment, the temporary filling is removed. The inlay or onlay is trialed on the tooth, and then adhered with a bonding system and special adhesive. They can then be adjusted based on the patient’s bite pattern.
The maintenance of inlays and onlays only requires regular oral care, which includes brushing, flossing and regular dental visits.
